As I traversed the hillside of Tintagel, I began to found evidence of Ogham script carved into the ancient rocks. I was amazed as I have found this script in so many places now, creating a thread of stories being pulled together throughout mythology and fact! Ogham script is the oldest form of celtic script. It appears within many famous ancient and sacred texts, such as The Book of Kells. The druids used ogham to incise upon personal belongings beleiving it to have magical properties that would literally manifest into being the message incised! It is ogham script that is incised on the ring that began my journey back in Edinburgh castle some two and a half years ago!
